Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most common questions about using MySafeJobs, our compliance standards, visa processes, and global recruitment practices.

General & Platform
What is MySafeJobs.com?

MySafeJobs.com is a global employment opportunity and recruitment technology platform connecting job seekers, employers, and authorised recruitment partners. We specialise in cross-border placements, particularly for Indian candidates seeking opportunities in the GCC/Gulf region, Turkey, and Russia.

Who operates MySafeJobs?

The platform is operated by Global Management Consultant, a registered Recruiting Agent under the Emigration Act, 1983 (RA ID: RA8748, Registration No.: B‑0159/MUM/PART/1000+/5/8748/2011). The current validity of this registration is subject to verification through the Government of India's eMigrate system.

Is MySafeJobs a registered Recruiting Agent?

MySafeJobs is a technology platform. Regulated recruitment activities, such as overseas manpower placement requiring a licensed Recruiting Agent, are conducted through our associated partner, Global Management Consultant, under their valid RA licence. We clearly distinguish the technology platform from the regulated recruitment entity.

Which countries does MySafeJobs cover?

Our primary focus is connecting candidates with employers in the GCC region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait), as well as Turkey and Russia. We also serve Indian candidates seeking overseas employment globally.

For Job Seekers
Is it free to apply for jobs on MySafeJobs?

Yes! Ordinary access to genuine job listings and standard applications is completely free. We do not operate a generic "pay-to-apply" model. Any optional, legally permitted paid services (such as premium resume visibility or specific documentation assistance) will be clearly disclosed before you proceed.

Does applying for a job guarantee me employment or a visa?

Absolutely not. MySafeJobs does not guarantee job interviews, selection, job offers, salary payment, visa approval, or work permit issuance. All employment offers and immigration decisions are made solely by the employer and the relevant government authorities.

What documents do I need to upload as a candidate?

You will need a valid email, phone number, and a detailed CV. Depending on the specific job and country, you may also be asked to upload educational certificates, professional licences, and a copy of your passport. Never share your password or OTPs with anyone claiming to represent MySafeJobs.

How do I know if a job listing is genuine?

We verify employers and recruitment partners where possible. Look for the "Verified Employer" or "Verified Recruitment Partner" badges. However, verification is a risk-control measure and not a guarantee. Always independently verify the employer, contract terms, and job location before accepting an offer or making any payment.

For Employers & Recruitment Partners
How do I post a job on MySafeJobs?

Register as an employer or recruitment partner, complete the verification process, and submit your vacancy through the employer dashboard. You will need to provide accurate details such as job title, location, salary, benefits, and the specific recruitment route (e.g., Direct Employer or Registered Recruiting Agent).

What verification do employers need to complete?

Employers must provide their legal company name, business registration/trade licence, authorised representative details, and, where applicable, recruitment or work-permit authorisation information. We review these documents before a job can be published. Verification statuses include Pending, Under Review, Verified, Expired, and Suspended.

Can I use unauthorised sub-agents for recruitment?

No. Our policy strictly prohibits the use of unauthorised sub-agents or intermediaries where such activity is restricted by applicable law. All recruitment partners must operate under their own valid licences and explicitly accept a declaration confirming this.

Visa & Immigration Services
Does MySafeJobs guarantee visa approval?

No. MySafeJobs and its service providers do not guarantee visa approval, immigration approval, entry permission, or residence permission. All decisions are made solely by the relevant government authority. Payment of a service fee does not guarantee that a visa will be approved.

Does MySafeJobs provide visa and documentation assistance?

Yes, our team has extensive experience in visa services. We may assist eligible clients and employers with visa-processing and documentation requirements for candidates sourced by the client. This service is subject to applicable laws and regulations and is clearly separate from the job placement process.

What is the MEANA region you refer to?

Our dedicated visa processing team provides assistance for candidates sourced by our clients across the MEANA region (which includes the Middle East, East Africa, and North Africa). We help streamline the documentation and visa process for employers and candidates in these areas.

Does a job offer mean I automatically get a work permit?

No. A job offer does not automatically provide a legal right to work. You may require a work permit, employment authorisation, sponsorship, or residence permit from the destination country's government before you can legally commence employment.

Fees, Payments & Refunds
Will I ever be asked to pay a recruitment fee?

We do not operate a "pay to apply" model. However, certain legally permitted, optional services (such as premium placement assistance or visa documentation) may involve a fee. These fees will be transparently disclosed before you proceed. Never pay a fee based solely on a WhatsApp message or a social media profile claiming to guarantee a job or visa.

What is the difference between a government fee and a service fee?

Government fees are amounts charged by a government authority (e.g., visa stamping fees) and are non-refundable. Professional or service fees are charges for assistance provided by us or our partners. We clearly separate these amounts on all invoices and receipts so you know exactly what you are paying for.

What is your refund policy?

Refund eligibility depends on the service purchased, the contract, and applicable consumer law. Government and third-party fees are generally non-refundable. We adhere strictly to all mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. For specific refund inquiries, please contact our support team.

Compliance & Safety
How do you verify recruitment partners and employers?

We request official business registration documents, trade licences, and relevant recruitment authorisations. We verify these documents at the primary source where possible. A "Verified" badge indicates that our verification process was completed at that time, but it does not constitute a government endorsement or a guarantee of future conduct.

What is your policy on fake jobs and fraud?

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy against fraud. Fake jobs, fake employers, fake visa promises, and unreasonable payment requests are strictly prohibited. We use automated tools, manual review, and user reports to detect and remove suspicious listings. Suspects may be referred to law enforcement agencies where appropriate.

How does MySafeJobs prevent human trafficking and forced labour?

We prohibit the use of our platform for forced labour, slavery, debt bondage, trafficking, or exploitation. Any credible allegation of such conduct may result in immediate suspension, investigation, and referral to competent authorities. We support ethical recruitment standards across all our markets.

Reporting & Grievances
How do I report a fake job or a suspicious recruiter?

Every job page includes a prominent "Report a Fake Job" or "Report Suspicious Activity" button. Simply fill out the form with your details, the job reference, the employer/partner name, and a description of the issue. Our moderation team will investigate and take appropriate action.

What should I do if a recruiter asks for money upfront or my passport?

Do not pay. Never provide your passport or original identity documents to an unverified person or entity. Report the request immediately through our "Report a Fake Job" feature. If you suspect you are a victim of fraud, contact local authorities right away.

How do I submit a grievance or complaint?

You can submit complaints via our online grievance form or by emailing hello@mysafejob.com. We will provide you with a unique complaint ID (e.g., MSJ-CMP-2026-000123) and handle your case promptly. Please note that our grievance process does not replace statutory remedies or government complaint channels.

Your personal information is stored securely with encryption, role-based access controls, and strict privacy standards. We do not sell your data. Your profile is shared with employers and partners only based on your consent settings. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Can I request to delete my data from MySafeJobs?
